Medical Care

Despite the attestation of the World Health Organization that access to the highest attainable standard of health is a fundamental right of every human being and that all humans have the right to timely, acceptable, and affordable health care of appropriate quality, hundreds of thousands of Syrians in Syria are deprived of this basic human right.

Education

Although getting an education is a human right enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, it’s a right that millions of children are missing out especially in Syria’s besieged areas.

Food Assistance & Emergency Relief

In Damaan Humanitarian Organization we take our share of the responsibility and provide food to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations through a variety of programs especially in the besieged areas in Syria. We further support and implement self-reliance such as agricultural programs.

Water & Sanitation

Water and sanitation, as absolute necessities for people, economy, prosperity and peace, are at the very core of life and sustainable development. After years of systematic targeting and destruction of water sources and infrastructure, a majority of Syrians have no regular water access especially those in the besieged areas, where water supplies have been cut and a partial and sometimes total destruction of infrastructure prevail.

Livelihood and Self-reliance

We take it as our mission to create self-reliance in all facets of life. We believe that the opportunity to work and earn a living is one of the most effective ways people can rebuild their lives in dignity and peace. We work to promote self-reliance among those most in need in order to help them recover from the negative effects of displacement and siege. We strive to empower communities and to strengthen their capacity to achieve food security and economic independence.
