This program prioritizes basic and secondary education as well as high school and vocational training. Damaan Humanitarian Organization, in coordination with the Local Councils, Education Councils and Interim Ministry of Education, has been involved in programs to rehabilitate schools, provide new classrooms, hygiene facilities, books and study materials as well as stationary.
Damaan Humanitarian Organization further strives to assist institutions of higher education in the besieged areas through the provision of computers, access to online libraries and study materials. The targeted group is students of elementary, secondary and high schools as well as vocational training institutes. The aim of the programme is to create and environment which provides support to students to complete their studies.
Implementation
Our program is tailored, implemented and coordinated with the Local Councils, Education Councils and Interim Ministry of Education. The program is operated by trained educators and it uses child-centered approaches.
Monitoring and Evaluation
The programme is regulated and monitored by Damaan and the local education offices.
